Explanation Kills Art
A curation of visual explorations and digital experiences.
Circle Studio is a multidisciplinary studio focused on visual art and digital design. Our work spans physical artworks and digital products, uniting artistic expression with functional design.
Paintings
Sculptures
Material: wood (solid wood).
Technique: hand carving, sanding.
An organic abstract form with an elongated, almost musical silhouette. Flowing lines and asymmetry emphasize a sense of movement and inner tension within the figure. Traces of manual craftsmanship are intentionally preserved as part of the sculpture’s texture and expression. The small perforations in the slender element introduce rhythm and evoke associations with sound or breath.
The work explores the balance between mass and fragility, stillness and fluidity, leaving space for the viewer’s personal interpretation.
Material: stone / ceramic.
Technique: hand modeling, carving, surface texturing.
A figurative sculptural form reduced to an essential, almost archetypal presence. The elongated head and open mouth suggest a frozen cry, breath, or silent vocalization, capturing a moment of raw emotional tension. The rough, uneven surface emphasizes the material’s resistance and enhances the sense of vulnerability and erosion.
The separation between head and body subtly reinforces the feeling of inner rupture, while the compact, grounded mass contrasts with the expressive intensity of the face. The work explores themes of voice, confinement, and the physical embodiment of emotion.
